National Training: Domestic Violence Offender Accountability, Monitoring, and Batterer Programs
The training is designed for court personnel, probation and parole officers, prosecutors, defense bar, and domestic violence advocates. This training is also useful for those who work in batterer programs and with domestic violence offenders in other venues. CASAC hours available. Professional trainers are available for consultations and/or presentations for any interested agency, institution, organization, business or community group. Programs will be tailored to your specific needs and can cover domestic violence, racism, sexism, heterosexism/homophobia, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) education and awareness, bias-related incidents and cultural sensitivity. Fees vary depending on the specific consultation, training or presentation. Please direct inquiries to the staff listed below.
A continued monthly discussion to offer each other mentoring, ideas and support informed by the tenets of the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond's Undoing Racism Workshop. The discussion is free to attend and is held the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM and the 4th Wednesday of every month 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at the Nyack Center, corner of 58 Depew Ave & S.
