Support Group for Caregivers of Older Adults
If you are concerned about an aging parent, spouse or other relative, VCS provides three weekly support groups. In these groups you will receive information, resources and alternatives for meeting the challenges associated with aging parents and relatives. These one hour groups are held on Monday mornings at 10am, Wednesday mornings at 10:50am at VCS in New City. An additional group on Monday evenings at 4pm is available via Zoom. All are welcome. The Relatives as Parents Program is an open support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren or any other person raising the child of a relative. The group is a place to share the challenges and experiences with your peers. The group is free to attend and runs on the third Friday of each month from 12:00-1:30 pm at VCS in New City.
