If you have ever said that to yourself, we can train you to become a volunteer counselor here at VCS.
27 hour course over 12 weeks
Professional instruction and supervision

Training fee required
Our counselors and clients represent a range of cultures, ethnicity, religions, sexual orientations and gender identities. We welcome volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Because of the nature of our work, both commitment and maturity are required. Volunteers should have four to five hours per week available for a minimum of 18 months. There is a non-refundable fee for the training. Candidates with special skills or qualifications, cultural expertise, or fluency in a second language are most welcome.
