Building Through Self-Care

For many of us, when we hear “mental health services” we automatically think of therapy, or treating a condition or illness to get back to a baseline level. We’re often taught only to think of our mental health and wellbeing when something feels wrong.

At VCS however, we understand the power of focusing on mental health and self-care at all times in our lives. Instead of only treating the root of our problems, we also look to build our skills and improve ourselves, and to go from “good” or “fine” to “great.” Self-growth and self-improvement are huge steps in becoming the people we want to be.
