Kevin is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with a genuine passion for mental health advocacy. Since 2015, he has combined hisexpertise in law, policy and human services to drive positive change and solve complex organizational challenges with creativity and precision.

Before embarking on a legal journey, he cut his teeth in the world of politics—drafting
policy briefs, coordinating grassroots campaigns, and fostering stakeholder
relationships at local and state levels. This hands-on political experience sharpened
their analytical skills and provided a strong foundation in public policy, negotiation and strategic communication.

Kevin attended the University at Albany and graduated early with a Bachelor of Arts. At the University at Albany, he built a multidisciplinary perspective that seamlessly bridged social science and public affairs. His academic rigor continued through law school at Albany Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2003, where he focused on health law, corporate, regulatory and compliance frameworks. Immediately after law school, he worked for NYC Administration for Children Services and then went on to work in family law through a private practice.

In 2015, Kevin left the legal profession (no longer licensed) and joined a local non-profit as a compliance associate. He brought his understanding of nonprofit realm on
regulatory adherence, risk assessments and internal policy development and helped
guide the agency’s success.

In 2019, Kevin joined VCS and has had multiple responsibilities since then. Since that
time, Kevin has developed the compliance program, instituted a new Human Resources system, has been instrumental in its expansion and helped develop a sustainable, long- term business plan.

A dedicated mental health advocate, Kevin volunteers for a variety of local
organizations in his hometown often putting together food drives and fun events such as spaghetti dinners for the scouts or a pancake breakfast for his local parish.

When not untangling regulatory puzzles, he enjoys theater, hiking local trails and exploring historical locations.

Through a blend of legal acumen, human-centered design and logistical savvy, Kevin
continues to elevate VCS’s compliance, HR and operational excellence—always with a professional, fun twist.
