Peer Services

Peer support services are available at VCS for clinic clients. You cannot have peer services without also receiving therapy or medication services. Our peers are available to meet with existing clients (or their families) to provide non-clinical support for overcoming barriers associated with mental health care.

Currently, we have Adult Peer Specialist and Family Peer Advocates. Adult Peer Specialists provide services occur outside of the therapy session, and they work alongside clinicians to help clients meet personal and professional mental health goals and overcome barriers to treatment. Family Peer Advocates offer support for parents & caregivers of VCS clients under 21 years old. Advocates provide emotional support and resources to families, and services are based on each family’s individual determined need.

Patient Portal Information

On the patient portal, you can see your appointment calendar, check on your medication refills, check your bill balance, and can request your personal records. This service is free and available for all clinic clients.
