Los Grupos de Apoyo te brindan un espacio para sentirte seguro y vulnerable. Puedes encontrar fortaleza al compartir tu historia o al escuchar las de otros. En nuestros Grupos de Apoyo, compartimos información confiable que ayuda a todos nuestros miembros a superar su situación actual.
Our support group offerings are updated regularly, so check back often if you don’t see what you’re looking for, or give us a call to let us know how we can be there for you.
Caregiver Support Groups
The VCS Caregiver Support Groups provide resources for individuals who are caregivers for another adult. The group is a safe space to share tips, resources, and strategies with others in the same role, and also to speak openly about your experiences.
Currently, the group is running only once a week, but check back regularly because new groups are being added regularly. The group is held on Wednesdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the VCS office in New City, and is free to attend!

Entre Mujeres
Entre Mujeres, (meaning “between women”) is a community service program to offer Hispanic women a space where they can share and learn in community with other women. In this group, women discuss topics of interest related to mental health and parenting, and we sometimes host guest speakers to share relevant information about their services.
We currently have one group that meets once a week on Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Spring Valley Public Library. Entre Mujeres is free to attend!

Relatives as Parents Program
The Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP) is an open support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren or any other person raising the child of a relative. The group is a place to share the challenges and experiences amongst your peers.
The group runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the VCS office in New City. The RAPP group is free to attend!
