Counselor Training Program for Volunteers

The next training will be held Fall 2013
This highly acclaimed counselor training course lasts for 13 Monday nights and one Sunday.

VCS counselors offer much needed support and help to financially struggling residents of Rockland County who are dealing with life problems (divorce, parent/child issues, illness, depression, aging, relationships, domestic violence).

Volunteers should have four to five hours per week available. We prefer you be over 28 years of age. There is a fee for training, but reductions may be available for candidates with special qualifications, i.e. cultural expertise or fluent in a second language.
